new fender!
in the end of 2007 a man driving a lexus decided that my car would look good with a dented drivers fender.
i took the insurance money and bought euro bumpers instead and decided to cover the dent with stickers. tonight i finally replaced it.
since my car is lowered, modifications have been made to the chassis and fenders. the fenders are "rolled", rolled meaning the inside lip of the fender is made flush with itsef. if this is not done the fenders become bent and the tires get chewed up. no bueno.
now, i have done this in the past using a fender roller, this time i dont have this tool. i improvised.
standard issue rubber mallet and heat gun.
the patient.
gingerly apply heat to the lip of the fender in a atempt to not crack the paint.
gradually smash the lip down while heatting the fender.
after the fender is safely rolled reinstall that shit on your shitbox.
